How to make Braided Chili Peppers…

This sizzling wall-piece is easy to make. You can make a similar one by assembling assorted fruits and veggies also!
Materials
  • Fimo soft Transparent red (2oz)
  • Sculpey III Translucent (2oz)
  • Sculpey III Lime (2oz)
  • SculpeyIII Yellow (2oz)
  • Sculpey Glaze Gloss
  • Jute thread or any thick cord
  • Craft wire for making hooks
  • Sculpey Glaze Gloss
  • Non-stick baking pan
  • Oven preheated to 275 degrees
Instructions
  • Red peppers are made with Transparent red.
    To make Green peppers, mix Lime (green) and translucent (1:2 ratio). For light green peppers, mix Lime green, Yellow and translucent (1:2:2 ratio).
  • Attach a small hook made with craft wire to the peppers before baking. Bake at 275 degrees. Coat with Sculpey glaze gloss.
  • Make a braid using 6 strands of jute thread. Use 2 strands for each braid, make a knot leaving some thread at the end.
    Fix the Chilly peppers using the hooks!
