Instructions
  • Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
  • With yellow polymer clay, make a ball for the head, an ellipse for the body, two identical small balls for the wings and a small beak (with red clay)
  • Shape the wings and body. Wings should be flat (as shown in the picture). Flatten the balls, and pinch the ends.
  • Assemble the head, body and wings.
  • Stick the small beak and make eyes with a speck of Black clay.
  • Bake in the oven and apply gloss.

This is a simple method to make a bird. You can use your imagination to create different kinds of birds by varying the colors and structure of beak and wings.

You can even create a small pond with pebbles and leave the birds in it!
