These buttons are great to decorate picture frames, lamps, door signs, scrap book pages etc.

• Make a 1/8″ thick clay pancake.

• Using a culinary cutter/embosser (I got mine from Wilton online store) emboss the pancake in any way you want.

• I just kept going until I got the texture I liked. Go in different directions and see what happens.

• Cut a small circle so that the edges are nice and smooth (use a tiny cutter like this http://www.theclaystore.com/pages-productinfo-category-124-product-667/plain-round-cutter-set-11-piece.html if you have one, they are life savers for many projects!) Place the circle on top of a larger circle of different color.

• I decided to shape the bottom circle into a square. Make holes and bake.
