This tutorial will teach you how to make Faux Golden Burl.
Instructions
  • Condition the gold clay but leave the mica uneven in the clay
    • Roll the clay to #2.
    • Place the sheet of gold leaf on the clay and trim around it.
    • Roll it up tightly, avoiding air bubbles.
    • Slice at a sharp angle, instead of up and down, to reveal the flecks of leaf.
    • Cover beads or anything!
