Decorated Purse Necklace

• Roll out the scrap clay very thin or to the number 4 setting on the pasta machine.

• Press the clay against the heart necklace. Press hard enough to get the texture of the necklace front to imprint the clay.

• Turn the imprinted clay over with the imprinted side up. Carefully cut out the imprinted heart shape clay.

• Cover the back of the clay with Poly-Bonder.

• Place the heart shaped clay on the necklace front. Gently press in place.

• Place the butterfly cane in a 175 degree oven for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately slice the cane in very thin pieces.

• Randomly attach the butterflies to the lid or top of the necklace with Poly Bonder. Bake the heart necklace at 275 degrees for 15 minutes.

• After the necklace has cooled, apply your choice of color of metallic rub-on to the front of the clay covered necklace. (I used gold).

• Apply Poly-Glaze to the clay portion of the necklace and to each of the butterflies.
