Polymer clay doesn’t have to be hard! Here is one easy Calla tutorial. It is so simple, even kids can make beautiful flowers for their projects!

Instructions
  • Roll a ball of clay and flatten it with your fingers (you can use a pasta machine if you have one) If you have a small heart shaped cookie cutter you can use that or you can cut a heart with a carving knife like I do. It doesn’t have to be perfect, mine certainly isn’t :)
  • Roll a pistil (I mixed 1/1 yellow and white) and lay it on your heard as shown.
  • Wrap the pistil.
  • Mix forest green and white polymer clay (callas have light green stems) and roll a worm. Then flatten it from one side as shown. Wrap your flower.
  • Thin the stem, cut as needed. NOTE: with your finger bring some of the white clay down (see red arrow) to make it look more natural.
