Make them into little flat squares. Also make a long flat rectangle and a little square, which will be the button that you push to make the toast go into the toaster.

- Attach the feet to the 4 corners on the bottom of the toaster. Add the long rectangular strip on the side and add the little button at the top of the toaster, on the end of the long strip.

- To make the two toast slits, use a small knitting needle and gently carve out 2 deep slits. Gently roll the needle inside the slits to smooth them out, until they look like long, skinny ovals. Also, add a tiny flat rectangle on top of the toaster beside the toast slits. This is the button panel.

- Roll out a thick, flat piece of light brown clay, and trace some outlines of toast shapes. Using a sharp tool, carefully cut out the shapes, and smooth the edges.
| |
- Roll out a long snake of brown clay, enough to wrap around the toast shape. Wrap the snake around the whole outside of the toast. Trim off the excess clay, and smooth the ends of the crust.
| |
- Using a needle tool, poke several little holes that cover both sides of the toast. This adds texture to the toast. Cut out a splatter shape out of light yellow clay, and place it on top of the toast. add 2 or 3 tiny squares of yellow clay, and put that on top of the light yellow splatter shape. Now you have melting butter.

- And there you have toast to go with your toaster. Instead of butter, use red clay to make strawberry jam.

This is so cute. I wish I had thought of it. I am reaquainting myself with polymer clay. I dabbled in it some 12 years ago. I love making faces. All of it is still a challenge, though until I break in.

Wow! That is so cute! I’ve recently began messing with clay and I think I might try this one out!
FAB! This make me think of the film ” The Brave Little Toaster”; kind of retro looking.’
Great!!!
