How to make chicken with peas on the plate.

Materials

  • white clay
  • green clay
  • ochre clay (for ochre colour mix 1 part light brown+1 part yellow)
  • knife

Instructions

  • From ochre clay make a cone-shape form.
 

  • On the thick end of the chicken body make a cut.
 

  • For chicken legs you’ll need to make the same form as for body but more smaller.
 
  • Take a white clay and form it into 2 little logs with thicker ends from one side. In thicker place of each log make a small cut and smooth the cut with your fingers. It will be the bone.
 
  • Attach bones to chicken legs. Make tiny holes in legs with toothstick to make connection more easier.
 
  • Put your chicken on the plate and create a lot of tiny green balls for peas. Add them to chicken! Bake them together or separately. Let it cool!
 
  • I bought a plate from the doll’s house fair. Made a mold with air dry clay. Let it dry for 2 days. After - you can use it any time you want to make more plates easier and faster. Just put clay between 2 molds.
 

  • This is my plate from the mold. Bake it with chicken and peas on or separately.
 

  • Dinner is ready!
