Making Jelly Dougnuts out of Polymer Clay

Instructions

  • Roll out several small balls of a light golden brown clay colour and flatten them slightly.

  • Roll out several more darker balls of brown clay. Make then smaller and make 2 for every 1 doughnut. Flatten out the darker balls so that they are as thin as possible. Place one on each side of the doughnut.

  • Smooth the dark clay onto the doughnuts, so that they blend together.

  • Using a knitting needle tool, poke a hole on one side of each if the doughnuts. this is where the filling will go.

  • Make 2 puddles of Liquid Sculpey. Mix one with brown clay, and the other with red.

  • Use a sharp tipped tool to gently fill each of the holes of the doughnuts with either chocolate or strawberry jelly.

  • Then use a sharp tool to texture the top of the doughnut, so it looks like sugar.

  • The jelly filled doughnuts are now complete!
