Translucent Pink Lace Cane
Materials
  • Translucent clay
  • Red or pink clay
  • White clay
  • Pasta machine
  • Cutting blade
  • Oven preheated to 275 degrees
Instructions
  • Tint a ball of translucent clay with a bit of red or pink clay to make a light pink. Roll the white clay to #1 thickness with the pasta machine.
  • Roll the translucent pink clay into a log and wrap the white around it. Roll it out and cut into 6 equal pieces.
  • Arrange those 6 parts like a flower.
  • Again roll it out and cut again into 6 pieces and arrange like a flower.
  • And one more time roll, cut and arrange like a flower.
  • Reduce to desired size. And you have a simply made cane that can have very intricate effects. Here is a picture of a gorgeous necklace I made from round balls covered with this cane and a rose focal bead I make with slices from the cane. Try making this cane and using it for different things. It looks amazing on anything.
